What is it?
A healthy and active lifestyle is important, which is why Pink Ribbon works with walking groups. These groups regularly go out for a pleasant walk, each in its own region and at its own set times.
Each group is accompanied by a hiking coach, also known as a Pinky Pioneer. They each completed training through our hiking partner Wandelsport Vlaanderen so they are well prepared to guide hikers.
How does it work?
There are currently 16 walking groups active in Flanders. Discover on the map below which group is active in your region, click further on the group for more information.
Once you have found a walking coach in your area, you can become a member by contacting Pink Ribbon. Fill in all the requested details and wait for a response from the team. They will put you in contact with the requested coach and arrange your membership.
The registration fee is €18 per person. By paying this you will receive a membership and insurance with Wandelsport Vlaanderen, four times a year the magazine Wandel.be and the Pink Ribbon.
How do I support charity?
By walking with one of the Pinky Pioneers, you also support the fight against breast cancer. When you register, you purchase a ribbon and these proceeds flow back to the projects of Pink Ribbon. In addition, walking is good for your health and you take care of it yourself. And last but not least, whoever joins the Pinky Pioneers becomes a Pink Ribbon ambassador himself.
Will you take the next step in the fight against breast cancer?
