    Who is the walking coach?  

    Winny De Prycker (62) decided to become a Pink Ribbon walking coach in 2022. After going through a tough journey as a cancer patient herself, she wanted to get back into active exercise. "This was not obvious, so I wanted to do this in a group. This way I can also support others from my own experience," says the coach.

    In three words, Winny would describe herself as creative, warm-hearted and passionate. The best compliment she ever received was "You are an inspiration."  

    How often do we go hiking?  

    Once a week Winny plans a walk of about 5 kilometers, meeting on Saturday at the culture house in Merelbeke at 10 am. In addition, once a month they walk 12 to 15 kilometers, this continues on Sundays.  

    What region are we hiking in?  

    M&M WiWALK hikes in East Flanders, mainly in the region of Genten Merelbeke, but also in the Flemish Ardennes.

    1,350 walkers raise €2,000 at the KennedyMars Maasland

    On Saturday, September 13, hundreds of courageous walkers braved weather, wind and sore feet for the KennedyMars Maasland. Traditionally, the entire proceeds go to three charities. This year the organization collected € 2,000 for the benefit of Pink Ribbon.

    The Pink Walk: 10,779 participants take the next step in the fight against breast cancer in 2025

    In 2025, Pink Ribbon vzw organized another two editions of The Pink Walk, in May and in October. Spread over the two months, no fewer than 10,779 participants took part and collectively raised € 248,919 for the fight against breast cancer.
