"Stronger Together" Campaign

    We are once again asking everyone in Belgium to proudly wear this " Pink Ribbon" ribbon. That way, we can help further eradicate ignorance about breast cancer.

    Our “Stronger Together” campaign is one that, now more than ever, will focus on authenticity and solidarity.
    After all, together we can cope with the disease much better. And we can ensure that breast cancer is detected much sooner and treated much more effectively.

    Through the sale of this ribbon, Pink Ribbon will also raise funds to continue its fight against breast cancer—both in terms of awareness, prevention, and early detection, and with a view to improving patients’ quality of life and funding breast cancer research.

    Groundbreaking survey of Belgians' willingness to be tested for breast cancer genes

    A representative survey of 1,000 Belgians, conducted by IVOX on behalf of Pink Ribbon, shows that at least 8 out of 10 Belgians are willing to be tested for breast cancer genes in order to take preventive action. The genetic test exists but is underutilized, resulting in one out of two hereditary breast cancers not being detected until diagnosis.

    Pink Ribbon launches the “Stronger Together” campaign

    During International Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Pink Ribbon is launching the “Stronger Together” campaign. With this campaign, we aim to raise awareness about breast cancer, combat misinformation, and emphasize the importance of early detection. From understanding the 9 warning signs to increasing awareness of hereditary breast cancer: only by working together can we ensure that everyone is better informed and can access the right care more quickly.

    October: International Breast Cancer Awareness Month

    On the occasion of International Breast Cancer Month, which starts on October 1, Pink Ribbon is launching its "Shine A Light" campaign. A campaign that aims to highlight what is still insufficiently known about breast cancer.
