    Who is the walking coach?  

    Veronique Camerlinckx (58) decided to become a Pink Ribbon walking coach in 2020. During an extended period of illness, she discovered for herself how nice it is to join a group of walkers. Thus it began to itch for her to start a walking group herself. "It gave me so much positive energy and satisfaction to be able to support people in recovery. The guiding principles of my walks are: peace - connection - love of nature," Veronique says.

    In three words, this coach would describe herself as creative, caring and loving. The best compliment she ever received was "Thanks to you I feel like living again, you are a superhero."

    How often do we go hiking?  

    Twice a month, Veronique schedules a walk on Wednesday evenings at 7 p.m. She also heads out every Sunday, meeting at 10 a.m. The walks vary between 5 and 10 kilometers.  

    What region are we hiking in?  

    Love 2 Walk walks in the region of Het Meetjesland: Aalter, Maldegem, Eeklo and Drongengoedbos.

    Fourth edition of Walk for Pink Ribbon 2,436 walkers in the fight against breast cancer

    On Whit Monday, the Hoge Kempen National Park turned pink once again for the fourth edition of the Walk for Pink Ribbon. A whopping 2,436 enthusiastic participants made their way to Dilsen-Stokkem to walk together in support of the fight against breast cancer, despite the heat.

"Not every cancer patient has the courage to get on a fitness machine," she says, "Yoga is a low-threshold alternative with proven beneficial effects.

    In May, 5,667 participants took the next step in the fight against breast cancer

    In May, Pink Ribbon organized the thirteenth edition of The Pink Walk. The national breast cancer organization once again drew 5,667 enthusiastic participants who gave it their all. The event raised a total of 120,365 euros.
