Who is the walking coach?
Maritess Ferreras (43) decided to become a Pink Ribbon walking coach in 2022. Her main motivation for this? She wants to encourage people to walk more and find joy in doing so.
In three words, this coach would describe herself as active, passionate and eager to learn. The best compliment she ever received was "You are very sweet."
How often do we go hiking?
Maritess meets with her group once a month on Sunday afternoons for a 3-5 kilometer walk. She does this especially during the months of The Pink Walk, May and October.

When a doctor gets breast cancer
Sofie De Vuysere is a physician specializing in medical imaging. She was diagnosed with breast cancer 20 years ago, at the age of 33. In her book "In Her Own Mind," she describes how she experienced and survived the rollercoaster, how medicine changed in those years and what yoga can do.
