Who is the walking coach?
Rika Seynaeve (58) decided to become a Pink Ribbon walking coach in 2021. Her biggest motivation for this? Hiking is the hobby she herself likes best and can enjoy the most.
In three words, Rika would describe herself as reliable, punctual and a good listener. The best compliment she ever received was "You have a beautiful smile."
How often do we go hiking?
On the first and third Saturday of the month, Rika schedules a walk. Usually the group then heads out for a route of about 5 kilometers.

Walking.be organized Pink Ribbon Longest Day Pink Ribbon there in collaboration with Pink Ribbon . From the Coo waterfalls to the challenging finale at the top of the Val de Wanne ski slope, participants demonstrated their perseverance over 10, 24, 36, or 50 km. Don't feel like getting off your couch for that brisk walk? It happens to all of us sometimes, but dog owners just a little less so. People with dogs take up to 3,000 more steps per day, and as a result, they are healthier on average.

1,350 walkers raise €2,000 at the KennedyMars Maasland
On Saturday, September 13, hundreds of courageous walkers braved weather, wind and sore feet for the KennedyMars Maasland. Traditionally, the entire proceeds go to three charities. This year the organization collected € 2,000 for the benefit of Pink Ribbon.
