Welcome to walking group Walking Power by Nadine Gregoor
Who is the walking coach?
Nadine Gregoor (62) decided to become a Pink Ribbon walking coach in 2022. As a Pinky Pioneer, she wants to spread and share the joy of walking and its healing effects with others.
In three words, Nadine would describe herself as (spring) powerful, active and thoughtful. The best compliment she ever received was "It's good that you bring people together to walk."
How often do we go hiking?
Nadine does not schedule set times, but she does go on walks several times a week. Wandelkracht's walks range from 4 to 6 kilometers.
What region are we hiking in?

The more you walk, the better for your health
Need another push to participate in The Pink Walk? The largest study on the benefits of walking ever published concludes that for every 500 to 1,000 extra steps a day, you boost your health. From more than 4,000 steps, a benefit is demonstrable and at 20,000 steps you still have health benefits.
Count steps instead of minutes
We are advised to be active for 150 minutes each week for a healthy life and the lowest possible risk of cancer, but counting active minutes is not so helpful. According to new research, you might as well express your activity in increments. A lot more practical.

In the same boat
Moving together heals body and soul. This is proven by the Pink Ribbonettes, women with breast cancer who row on water courses in Brussels, Lier and Turnhout.
