Brenntag

Brenntag is the global market leader in chemicals and ingredients distribution and pursues an ambitious sustainability development. Rated “gold medal” by EcoVadis, its ESG strategy is focused on their 18000 employees by promoting their well-being through various initiatives. One of these, was a connected walking challenge in Nov. 2025, driven by Brenntag Women Forum network in France, Belgium and The Netherlands. The goal of 20 million steps walked in 12 days has been fulfilled.

This initiative enabled Brenntag staff to surpass themselves in order to unlock a donation and contribute financially to Pink Ribbon's breast cancer prevention and screening activities. Employees wore pink during specific events and were all invited to take part in the Mammoquiz. As part of this challenge, a survey was conducted among participants to assess their level of knowledge about breast cancer. Almost a quarter of those surveyed were not enough informed (22%) or not at all informed (1%). Hence the importance of regularly conducting awareness-raising activities.
