Pink Ribbon launches the “Stronger Together” campaign

During International Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Pink Ribbon is launching the “Stronger Together” campaign. With this campaign, we aim to raise awareness about breast cancer, combat misinformation, and emphasize the importance of early detection. From understanding the 9 warning signs to increasing awareness of hereditary breast cancer: only by working together can we ensure that everyone is better informed and can access the right care more quickly.

Higher Rates of Breast Cancer Among Flight Attendants: Does Cosmic Radiation Play a Role?

The "Made for Her" Fund

Hair loss resulting from breast cancer treatment is life-altering. The additional costs associated with purchasing a wig or headscarf often don’t make this difficult time any easier. Because everyone deserves comfort and self-confidence during this struggle, Pink Ribbon is launching a brand-new initiative: the Geknipt voor Haar Fund.

Pink Ribbon is the Belgian organization dedicated to the fight against breast cancer every day.

The non-profit organization Pink Ribbon is the national organization working every day to improve the medical treatment of breast cancer and increase the quality of life of (former) breast cancer patients. Our mission is ready and clear to eliminate the disease and reduce its impact.

‍

To this end, we are setting up several projects in Belgium under 5 pillars:

  • Breast cancer awareness
  • Prevention
  • Early detection of breast cancer
  • Psychosocial support for (former) patients and their surroundings
  • Research

‍

To finance these projects, we raise funds managed in the bosom of the Pink Ribbon non-profit organization and at the Pink Ribbon Fund, the latter under the auspices of the King Baudouin Foundation.
