Pink Ribbon and Political Intelligence joined forces in 2024 and again in 2025 to realize a unique project: to light up the European Parliament in pink. As a result, the old Station of Europe in the heart of Brussels was illuminated in pink on the occasion of the start of Breast Cancer Awareness Month two years in a row, with MEPs showing their support for the fight against breast cancer.

"We can beat cancer and our generation is the generation that can do it," said Roberta Metsola, President of the European Parliament, during the first pink lighting on Oct. 1, 2024. "I am proud that the European Parliament is celebrating Breast Cancer Awareness Month and reaffirming our commitment to the fight against breast cancer. By raising awareness, promoting prevention and supporting research, we give hope to patients and their loved ones."
