Alheembouw is a family-owned business based in West Flanders with over 50 years of experience in the construction industry. From their headquarters in Oostnieuwkerke, they carry out a wide range of construction projects, from commercial buildings and logistics sites to offices and schools, with a focus on quality and collaboration. With a strong emphasis on sustainability and people-centered business practices, they help build a future-proof living and working environment every day.
In May 2026, Alheembouw participated in The Pink Walk for the first time. With no fewer than 140 employees, they spent a month trying to take as many steps as possible every day. To encourage the participants, they set an ambitious goal for the initiative: to walk around the world together. In the end, they reached 40 million steps, enough for a virtual walk to Honolulu. To also provide financial support for the fight against breast cancer, Alheembouw donated 7,500 euros
