Roularta turned Pink Monday into Pink Monday full-fledged "Pink Week"

Last year, we read about Pink Monday a newsletter for prevention advisors. We were immediately won over by this initiative and received full support from our management. This year, we got involved earlier and were able to give the campaign even more visibility, including by selling pink waffles and greeting cards, all made by our colleagues.

Pink Monday very close to our hearts. Unfortunately, every year colleagues are diagnosed with cancer, particularly breast cancer. In most cases, they are able to return to work after treatment—either on a phased basis, with modified duties, or full-time. Sadly, we also occasionally lose a colleague to cancer.

That is why, through our participation in Pink Monday , we want to offer Pink Monday to everyone affected by this disease: both our colleagues who are dealing with it and all their friends and family members. We also take this opportunity to remember the colleagues we have lost.

As a media company, we report on what’s happening in society. Unfortunately, these days that often means negative news. That’s why we place great importance on spreading glimmers of hope and positivity throughout the company whenever we can. Pink Monday a splash of color to this effort. We liked it so much that we turned it into a “Pink Week.” Whenever we ran into a colleague in the hallway wearing something pink that week, we immediately recognized the connection and broke into a big smile. The pink waffles also provided a moment of relaxation over a cup of coffee, sharing a waffle, and sparking conversation among colleagues.

In the meantime, we raised funds through our sales that we Pink Monday donate to Pink Monday . The company thought the initiative was so wonderful and so important that they matched the amount raised, allowing us to donate a substantial sum.

In addition to the pink waffles and our raffle tickets, one of our colleagues also made and sold tiramisu at one of our smaller locations. In total, we raised €1,580, which the company has matched, so we can donate €3,160 to you.
