Vebego Cleaning & Services, new partner of Pink Ribbon: "We want to offer more than just a nice workplace."

"Our people are our gold. We value their well-being greatly," says Denise Vrouenraets, director of marketing & sales at Vebego Cleaning & Services. "That's why we are wholeheartedly entering into a partnership with Pink Ribbon."

Vebego is a large company active in the cleaning sector. What started as a family business in 1943 has grown into a mega-company present in four countries (the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Switzerland) with more than 40,000 employees. Vebego has been operating in Belgium for 55 years and has around 2,500 employees there. Denise Vrouenraets, director of marketing & sales at Vebego Cleaning & Services in Belgium:

"For us at Vebego, caring for our colleagues goes beyond providing a safe and pleasant workplace. It's about paying genuine attention to people—even outside the workplace. In our Belgian organization, 63% of our colleagues are women. Statistically, one in eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer at some point in their lives. These aren't abstract figures; they're colleagues, mothers, partners, and daughters.

Given this reality, a partnership with Pink Ribbon felt Pink Ribbon a natural choice. Not as a symbolic commitment, but as a way to make our responsibility concrete. We want to support our colleagues with knowledge, awareness, and accessible initiatives that have a real impact.

Our collaboration therefore focuses on prevention through two clear pillars. On the one hand, we join the walks organized by Pink Ribbon Belgium. Walking together encourages exercise, strengthens the sense of connection, and contributes to prevention. Because our colleagues work across the country, this makes it possible to participate close to home, in a familiar environment.

In addition, we are focusing on the Mammoquiz, an accessible tool that helps women to be alert to the warning signs of breast cancer. By making information understandable and practical, we lower the threshold for recognizing signs in time and taking action.

Working together toward a common goal—such as the fight against breast cancer—creates commitment, solidarity, and awareness. That is exactly what we want to encourage: caring for each other, today and in the long term.
