Companies across Belgium are turning Blue Monday into Pink Monday

5,961 euros and around 150 corporate initiatives across Belgium and Luxembourg. That is what Pink Monday achieved. On January 19, 2026, the fifth edition took place, with a wide range of companies, organizations, and self-employed people doing their best to make breast cancer a topic of discussion in the workplace. In this way, they turned Blue Monday (read: the gloomiest day of the year) into an impactful day full of optimism and support.

From a "pink positivity wall" to a three-day reception with pink outfits, snacks, and drinks, solidarity was everywhere. This year, participants could even compete against each other and win prizes: for the most creative "pink" action, the best photo, and the largest amount of money raised. They were rewarded with, respectively, a place of honor on the Pink Ribbon and newsletter, Pink Ribbon and T-shirts for ten employees, and a free visit from our mascot Sandy to the workplace.

At Carrefour's headquarters in Zaventem, the staff went all out: they held a three-day 'pink reception' with interactive activities such as a quiz, raffle, and discussion about breast cancer screening and prevention. Mascot Sandy was also there to encourage employees to take the Mammoquiz.

At Roularta, too, everything took on a pink hue: from pink waffles and homemade greeting cards to a pink makeover for the employees.

The ZAS went all out for Pink Ribbon ribbons on the left breast and pink outfits under hospital gowns in various departments under the motto "screening saves lives." One in three women does not undergo preventive screening due to a language or cultural barrier, they say on their social media.

This year, Pink Ribbon reached faraway Luxembourg, where Victor Buck Services brought employees together for a pink buffet and a fun group photo, just like BNP Paribas Fortis, the De Zilveren Zwaan residential care center, Unique, and many others did.

Leopold de Waelplaats in Antwerp was colored pink by the flags and pink facade lighting of the KMSKA. The information boards inside the museum also displayed digital KMSKA x Pink Monday , and their logo was colored pink.

Dozens of other companies also gave their digital logos a pink makeover for a day and posted fun images and informative texts on their social media channels thanks to the ready-to-use Pink Monday digital Pink Monday they were able to use.

This year, we were once again able to count on the support of Cohezio and the FEB. We sincerely thank them for their valuable contribution and their commitment to strengthening Pink Monday companies.
